![Hydration
Maybe the perfect post after days of beautiful sun and carnival… 🤪😅
A few weeks ago during our call I shared that my hair was very dry and that i discovered a fantastic homemade mask for it (yes the recipe is at the bottom of this post or when you swipe right🫶🏼).
The other G(u)ardeners were happy about my discovery but also as often reminded me that there is no dryness outside that is not within.
In other words they reminded me to drink! To keep myself hydrated with water of course but also consider doing a cure of aloe vera juice and adding ghee to my diet.
When they shared that it clicked! I somehow forgot a bit of deep hydration in the last weeks... and my hair like the leaves of a tree were just showing it! The mask was a good idea but would not have been enough, I needed more than just a bit of spray of water on my leaves, i needed to hydrate deeply from my roots.
Since then i am paying more attention to the amount of water i drink as well as adding ghee on dry food such a bread. I feel less dry and so does my hair.
So cheers to a big glass of water my friends!
Recipe for the mask:
Whisk 1 egg, 2 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoon of olive oil. While doing it maybe connect to the medicine of the bees, olive trees and chicken, and maybe say an inner “thank you”. Spread the mix on your hair and scalp. Let it be for at least 30 minutes. Rinse it with a bit of shampoo.
Can you feel your hair saying “thank you” for the good homemade food? In Ayurveda, it is said that we shouldn’t put anything on our body that we would not eat through our mouth. Our skin, hair, scalp eat as well. You may not wish to always follow this advice (i don’t always do) but i do feel the difference between a bought cosmetic and an homemade one, same as for a meal! Enjoy!
